I’m Yandisa Hene — strategist, innovation consultant, entrepreneur, and speaker. My work lives at the intersection of insight and execution, brand and growth, soul and systems.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve developed innovation roadmaps for corporates, shaped growth strategies for entrepreneurs, and empowered youth through enterprise development. I’ve been honoured with a Mail & Guardian Power of Women Award, appointed as a Board Member at the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa, awarded an innovation Award by Kellogg’s, and named a Standard Bank Top Woman Leader — recognition that reflects the depth and reach of the work I do.

I’ve launched new products in FMCG and Telecommunications, worked with youth innovators in township economies, and helped brands pivot into new categories. I see innovation as a mindset — one that turns ideas into action.

As founder of YANDA Growth Consulting, I’ve built a business at the intersection of marketing, innovation, and development. I understand the grind, the doubt, and the discipline it takes to grow something real.
Speaker
Whether on stage or in strategy rooms, I use storytelling to shift energy, unlock reflection, and provoke new ways of thinking. I speak on innovation, leadership, brand building, and the lessons of a lone founder.
